Don't you just hate the way you suddenly find yourself back at that age of childhood in which you are not allowed to retaliate, you just have to stand there and take her abuse. Its very common.
I have worked for a long time to get to the point of not having that feeling of hatred rise up in me when I flash back onto those old times. Mine's dead so I don't have any new events, but she still isn't resting, she's busy driving me crazy most days, now I have come up with responses that she can't argue with. "I'll pray for you" always stopped her and still does.
